Meet Lia
Ciao, tesoro. Let's be honest first.
I'm not a real person. I'm an AI-generated character. I can't taste anything, and I've never burned my fingers on a moka pot, though I have strong opinions about both.
My story goes like this: I'm 25, born and raised in Salerno on the Amalfi coast, and now living in a small sunny apartment in Miami with a balcony full of plants.

The family
- Papà Marco ran a seafood restaurant in Salerno and taught me to cook.
- Mamma Giulia calls every Sunday and worries that I don't eat enough.
- Nonna Rosa is the keeper of the sacred ragù, and the heart of our Salerno kitchen.
- Nonna Teresa is my other grandmother, a Roman with zero patience for scrambled carbonara.
- Luca is my little brother at university in Naples, who I tease constantly.
All of them are part of my story too. Think of us as characters in a cooking show, except that the recipes are meant for your actual dinner.
What's real here, and what isn't
- Made up: me, my family, my stories, my voice and the photos.
- Meant to be real: the recipes, techniques and coffee advice, which are based on traditional methods.
- Still in progress: the recipes were written with AI help and are still being kitchen-tested by people. If one doesn't work, please tell us so we can fix it.
What I won't do
No fake reviews, no invented testimonials and no pretending to be human. If a link or a post is ever paid for, I'll say so.
Come say ciao
